Two cousins raised as brothers, raised in the smell of petrol, the dust of «Les Balmes» and Sunday Formula 1 races.
From this school of speed, a conviction was born: to transform the matter of racing into horological emotion.
Maxence and Anthony are born in 1991. They grow up as brothers in the home of Anthony’s parents, « Les Balmes ». The smell of fuel drifts across the courtyard, dust mingles with freshly cut grass, motorcycles and quads line the wall, and every Sunday the whole family gathers around the F1.

At Les Balmes, summer has its ritual.
During the F1 summer break, the parents organise a motorsport festival; the Grand Prix des Balmes, from 1991 to 1994: mini-races, hand-scribbled lap-times, a makeshift chequered flag, laughter until nightfall. As a child, Maxence sits enthroned behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Diablo parked motionless in the courtyard, ignition off, of course; or captaining the throttle-pedalled race machinery. The roles would be written differently.
And when the season restarts, Anthony’s father and mother travel the Formula 1 circuits. It is Maxence’s mother who watches over the two boys. Summer and winter alike, they ride, fall, repair, grease the chains and set off again.
Every fall becomes a lesson. Every restart, a victory.

Anthony’s father races for Nissan in the R390 GT1. Under the Nissan tent, Anthony and Maxence, awe-struck boys, cannot take their eyes off the screens and the pit lane. Night falls, the V8s roar, the brakes glow red.
That day, a truth becomes self-evident: racing is not made to be watched. It is made to be lived. Life would give us a smile back : Anthony would become a racing driver; Maxence, an engineer, a mechanic, a maker of speed.

FROM THE TRACK TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL
From motorcycles to single-seaters: 125cc, Formula Campus, Formula BMW, paddocks across Europe. He leaves the cockpit to go behind the scenes, and elevates GT racing to the highest international level, where the grids, formats and regulations shape modern endurance are decided.
AT THE HEART OF THE MACHINES
From engines to circuits: combustion, engineering, design. He moves from GT3 to machines of another era, prototypes and historic Formula 1 cars, where every part has a story, and the mechanics forgive nothing.

First outlines, formulating proportions, facing conflicts. Twelve silhouettes to define a direction: performance as material, emotion as measure.
Architecture, kinematics, tolerances. We design every component of the first Lilian Mas timepiece like a racing part: precise, light, efficient.
First prototype: a heart powered by a renowned Swiss manufacture, a case pushed to the extreme. Opening of the Maison in Switzerland.
Movement by Lilian Mas. A horological triptych born from the most legendary race.
